The Urban Laboratory (LabUrba) is a research center focused on critical urban studies. It brings together researchers, research projects, academic initiatives, and training programs.
LabUrba is organized around three key research areas: Governing the city, feminist urbanism, and the relationship between the city and nature.
The “Multi-hazards, Vulnerabilities and Global Change” Study Group aims to mitigate the risks posed by landslides, forest fires, and river floods in the Biobío region.
We are a team of researchers and students based at the Universidad de Concepcion in Chile studying the Andean cryosphere.
